I know if I ever got an ereader, nook would be the one because it's from B&N. I need a bookshelf, which will cost about the same as the nook.
But when I was almost positive I'd buy the nook, I got sad looking at my books and I don't think I can do it. I just love books, even some of the crappy ones I've acquired along the way. Just looking at my shelf makes me see how far I've come in reading and looking at files just isn't the same.
I'm still on the fence, I suppose, but for now, physical books win.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13568091621276786810noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8706721891813320913.post-30179020264222952702012-04-22T16:41:15.150-04:002012-04-22T16:41:15.150-04:00The iPod Touch will do for this type of books, I s...The iPod Touch will do for this type of books, I still like my Kindle as the screen is bigger :)Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02217995773961682662noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8706721891813320913.post-50111767468583778362012-04-22T16:40:31.283-04:002012-04-22T16:40:31.283-04:00I know! I don't own an e-reader, but I do use my iPod Touch for books that only come in e-format and for e-novellas that come out between the series that I read :-)Amber Hugheshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03612747389572196100noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8706721891813320913.post-1579400097448461882012-04-21T17:42:09.460-04:002012-04-21T17:42:09.460-04:00When I first heard about the Kindle, I didn't ...When I first heard about the Kindle, I didn't want it because I thought it would hurt my eyes staring at a screen for hours, but from a lot of poeple I've heard it doesn't strain your eyes at all. So now I have to suffer reading galleys on my laptop (which does strain my eyes) and I'm practiacally begging my mom for a kindle. :D I do like books though and will continue to buy them even when I get a kindle.Addie R.https://www.blogger.com/profile/12780386868131365673noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8706721891813320913.post-45533505136286946892012-04-21T14:16:46.710-04:002012-04-21T14:16:46.710-04:00I got a Nook this Christmas and I really like it b...I got a Nook this Christmas and I really like it but I still read more physical books than ebooks. To be honest...I got my Kindle about six months ago. To be honest, it took me a while to get used to reading on it. The progress bar used to drive me crazy - my eyes would keep compulsively checking it; I couldn't help it. However, after reading around 5 or 6 books on it, I like it now. I love how light and convenient it is to carry around. When I'm travelling to work, sometimes I can't get a seat on the train and it's awkward to stand in a crowded carriage and read with a paperback (or God forbid, a hardback), but so easy with a Kindle. I still have to go back and read physical books, though. Like you, I borrow a lot from the library and I just get sick of looking at the same device all the time and need the variety.TGhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17832981435264804886noreply@blogger.com
