Stacking The Shelves #7

Stacking the Shelves is a meme hosted by Tynga's Reviews in which we feature all the book goodness that we received, borrowed or purchased during the previous week. All links are to Goodreads.

I didn't get a whole lot this week, but I think I have a few good ones here.

A, B and C are in Puerto Rico, spending the summer with the family and it's just hubby and me.  The house is so quiet that it feels strange and I miss them SO much. On the bright side, I don't have to clean as much and I have more time to read and blog now :)

Purchased (or Free) for Kindle

I Am Number Four: The Lost Files: Six's Legacy by Pittacus Lore - I am reading The Power of Six right now and I realized that I was missing some info, therefore I got this short story (to be in the 'know' ;)

In Dreams by J. Sterling - This one was a freebie that looked interesting.

Bound by C. K. Bryant -I fell in love with the cover.  Have you read it?

Purchased (Physical Books)

Social Suicide by Gemma Halliday - I love Deadly Cool (review here) and I cannot wait to read this one!

Keys to the Repository by Melissa de la Cruz - I am a fan of the Blue Blood series and I found this book on sale in BAM.

Darkness Before Dawn by J.A. London - Cover love again *sigh*

Library

Above by Leah Bobet - I had this book in my WOW a while ago, can't wait to read it!

For Review

Witch Hunt by K. C. Blake - I read Crushed (review here), book one of the series and need to know what happens next :)

That's it for me this week.  What's new to your shelves this week?

Waiting on Wednesday: Above by Leah Bobet

Waiting on Wednesday is a meme hosted by Jill at Breaking the Spine

Title: Above by Leah Bobet
Published by: Arthur A. Levine Books
Release date: April 1st, 2012

Matthew has loved Ariel from the moment he found her in the tunnels, her bee's wings falling away. They live in Safe, an underground refuge for those fleeing the city Above--like Whisper, who speaks to ghosts, and Jack Flash, who can shoot lightning from his fingers.

But one terrifying night, an old enemy invades Safe with an army of shadows, and only Matthew, Ariel, and a few friends escape Above. As Matthew unravels the mystery of Safe's history and the shadows' attack, he realizes he must find a way to remake his home--not just for himself, but for Ariel, who needs him more than ever before

Why I want to read it: Besides the gorgeous cover this books sound so interesting, like a mix of fantasy / dystopian.  I am curious to learn about the gifted group of friends and what is going on Above.
