This week's features are Holjo @ Pedantic Pooka and Drying Ink and the questions is:
Have you ever wanted a villain to win at the end of a story? If so, which one?
Yes. I had to think hard about this one, but I came up with two villains. The first is Silas Dane from Shadowcry (Wintercraft #1) by Jenna Burtenshaw. He is supposed to be one of the villains, but I think he is just the misunderstood product of a mad woman’s desire for power. Silas is such a strong character, straightforward and loyal to the end.
The second villain I thought about is Myrnin from the Morganville Vampire series by Rachel Caine. Myrnin is a vampire, and he is also both a genius and crazy to boot, but it still one of my favorite characters in the series.
How about you, who is your villain?
Your answer is so much more interesting than mine!! :D

I find it interesting that a lot of us feel for the "villain" in vampire books. I wonder what is going on there.

Myrnin! I don't know why I didn't think of him! I haven't read Shadowcry, but I'll have to check it out.
