Top 10 Tuesday is a weekly meme created by The Broke and the Bookish
This is a very easy list for me to compile. There are so many good series out there that it seems like I’m always waiting for a sequel!
1. Insurgent by Veronica Roth – Divergent is one of my favorite books from this year, cannot wait to know what happens next.
2. Dust & Decay by Jonathan Maberry – This is the sequel to Rot and Ruin, the first zombie book I’ve ever read and I really like it, I only have to wait a few more weeks it to be published (*I’m jumping up and down, can’t you tell?*)
3. Until I Die by Amy Plum – Die for Me is another one of my favorite reads of this year. The characters (especially Vincent) are like my best friend now, can’t wait to visit with them again.
4. Hallowed by Cynthia Hand – I know that there are a lot of ‘angel’ books out there, but Unearthly is one that stands out from the rest.
5. Wings of the Wicked by Allison Courtney Moulton– The sequel to Angelfire, another great book with a kick-ass heroine and a dreamy angel (you know I’m talking about Will!)
6. Stolen Nights by Rebecca Maizel – This is book two of the Vampire Queen series that started with Infinite Days. I need to know what on Earth happened to Rhode?
7. Perception by Kim Harrington – Clarity is a book that I really enjoyed this year, definitely in my TBR list.
8. Jessica Rules the Dark Side by Beth Fantaskey – Jessica’s Guide to Dating on the Dark Side is a book that I recommend often and everyone who’s read it loves it. If you liked it (if you haven’t read it, what are you waiting for?) go the Ms. Fantaskey’s website to read about Jessica and Lucian’s wedding, then you’ll see why I want to read the sequel.
9. The Last Echo by Kimberly Derting – The Body Finder is one of my favorite series (*period*). Can’t wait to visit with Vi and Jay again.
10. A Beautiful Evil by Kelly Keaton – I really liked Darkness Becomes Her and that was a little unexpected for me. Although there were some things that I an issue with, overall it was a great book and I do love mythology.
What sequel are you waiting for?
I was about to say that I hadn't heard of any of those series yet, but The Lost Echo is on my list, too. I'll have to look into the other ones. :)
ReplyDeleteI keep seeing the 'Jessica' books on lists. They're more popular than I realised - I've really got to read this series.
ReplyDeleteNew follower.
ReplyDeleteI'm also looking forward to Jessica Rules the Dark Side. Will you be re-reading Jessica's Guide to Dating on the Dark Side?
And how can we all not be looking forward to Insurgent! I just finished reading and reviewing "Divergent".
Here's my Top Ten Tuesday
Have to agree, cannot wait to read insurgent!! Great picks:D
