Stacking the Shelves #34

Stacking the Shelves is a meme hosted by Tynga's Reviews in which we feature all the book goodness that we received, borrowed or purchased during the previous week. All links are to Goodreads.

I guess that the whole country has been call for a week now!  I can't wait for this cold front to be on its way and it's been snowing to boot.  In other news, my mom, sister, and my one and only nice are coming to visit for Spring Break and I'm eager to have them here already.  As you know, I live in Maryland and last week something extraordinary happend; the Ravens are going to the Superbowl!  Baltimore as a whole is so excited and very purple :) Here is what I got this week:

Purchased (or free) for Kindle

Daughter of Earth and Sky by Kaitlin Bevis - I finished book #1, Persephone (review coming soon), yesterday and promptly got the sequel.

Bouquet Toss by Melissa Brown - It sounds really good (and it was free!)

Pulse of Heroes: Part I by A. Jacob Sweeny - This series was highly recommended and event though I don't care more for the cover, I'm willing to give it a chance.

For Review

White Lines by Jennifer Banash - This book has been in my TBR wish list for a while, can't wait to read it.

Flicker & Burn by T.M. Goeglein - I haven't read Cold Fury, which is book one on the series, I plan to get it soon so I can tackle this one.

Phoenix by Elizabeth Richards - I really enjoyed Black City, I hope this one is just as good. These covers are to die for!

Dance of Shadows by Yelena Black - Now, this cover is so pretty that I would read the book just for that reason.  I sounds great too though :)

Thanks to Putnam Young Readers, Netgalley and Bloomsbury for the opportunity to review these books :)

Purchased (Not Book Related, or is it?)

I'm also really excited that hubby and I bought an iPad 4!  We had been debating about it for some time.  His work provided him with one, but its use is very restrictive and he cannot download anything fun in it.  Anyway, I already put the Kindle App, Goodreads app, my blog email and of course I plan to use for work as well.

What is stacking your shelves this week?  Have you read any of these?

Now if you excuse me I'm off to play with my new toy...

Dance of Shadows does look good. I know there was dispute about two different covers of that book that looked the same.
