Stacking the Shelves #54

Stacking the Shelves is a meme hosted by Tynga's Reviews in which we feature all the book goodness that we received, borrowed or purchased during the previous week. All links are to Goodreads.

Another busy week comes to an end!  B and C started camp this week (until classes start since my mom is gone) and I have to get used to getting kids ready in the morning.  I obviously have been spoiled this summer!

Last Saturday the YADC group of bloggers  authors and book lovers of Virginia, DC and Maryland had our first get together!  We had so much fun! I'll see you guys at the National and Baltimore Book Festivals next month.

Purchased (Physical) Books

52 Reasons to Hate My Father by Jessica Brody - I saw this book in many Top Ten Tuesday lists and I couldn't help but to get it.

Of Beast and Beauty by Stacey Jay - So pretty! Besides, I love books based on fairy tales.

Breaking Point by Kristen Simmons - I enjoyed Article 5 and got this one in audio book.

The Last Boyfriend by Nora Roberts- I finished book #1 on this series and got the next two from the library.

The Perfect Hope by Nora Roberts- See above :)

Spirit and Dust by Rosemary Clement-Moore - See my review for Texas Gothic (below) and you will see why I love the Goodnights!

The Sea of Tranquility by Katja Millay - This book came highly recommended by Andye from Reading Teen  and Christina from Allodoxophobia

A Taylor-Made Life by Kary Rader - This book sounds breathtakingly beautiful. Thank you for the opportunity to review it!

Homemade Bookmarks!

My sister loves to do scrap-booking and she showed me how the make bookmarks (much more useful to me!).  Aren't they so pretty?

This week I also participated in Authors are Rockstars Tour!  Let's show the amazing Wendy Higgins some love!  Leave a comment and enter this International Giveaway here.

That's it for me!  What's stacking your shelves this week?

  8. I really need to make time to read Of Beast and Beauty. I loved Stacey Jay's adult series and I've been meaning to try some of her YA stuff. I'm looking forward to seeing your review. I don't think I've come across any for that title yet.
