I discovered the world of book blogs in 2009 (see story here) and I can say that I read a great number of books because I saw a review or suggestion in a one of the wonderful book blogs around.
1. Percy Jackson and the Olympians by Rick Riordan - I learned about this series from Stephenie Meyer's website and I loved it!I discovered the world of book blogs in 2009 (see story here) and I can say that I read a great number of books because I saw a review or suggestion in a one of the wonderful book blogs around.
2. A Blue So Dark by Holly Schindler - I found this gem of a book in The Story Siren. The topic sounded so 'serious' that I doubt I would had read it otherwise.
3. Shadowcry by Jenna Burtenshaw - The UK title for this book is Wintercraft and I saw the review in Wondrous Reads, one of my favorite blogs.
4. Dreamquake by Elizabeth Knox - This was another suggestion from Stephenie Meyer's website. A very strange duet, but I still think about it once in a while.
5. Divergent by Veronica Roth - This is one of my favorite books of this year so far and I cannot remember in which blog I didn't see it!
6. Rot and Ruin by Jonathan Maberry - Another great suggestion by Jenny at Wondrous Reads.
7. Dash and Lily's Book of Dares by Rachel Cohn and David Leviathan - I saw this awesome and funny book in My Head is Full of Books.
8. Anna and the French Kiss by Stephanie Perkins - Another book that was everywhere. One of my favorite books ever!
9. The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins - I became aware of the series when Catching Fire was about to be published and promptly bought both books. One of my favorite series (I guess I like a lot of the books I read, huh?)
10. The Adoration of Jenna Fox by Mary E. Pearson - I found this book in Kristie's (The Story Siren) post of 10 Best Books and I read it with great expectations, I was not disappointed.

anna and the french kiss is a book i picked up because of the rave reviews too and it has become one of my all-time faves.
