The Bookish Museum

You know how there’s a museum for everything?  I mean dolls, postage, cars, planes … you name it, there’s a museum about it!  I started a plan in this devious mind of mine to start one of my own.

This museum is for artifacts (and I use the word loosely here) based on books and movies that are based on books.  Here’s the first installment of my Bookish Museum

1.  Dorothy’s ruby slippers – When I think about movies based on books, this is one of the first ones that come to mind.   The Wizard of Oz is one of my favorite movies, although I have never read the book.  These slippers deserve a place of honor!

2.  Harry Potter’s wand – I adore both the books and the movies of this amazing wizard.  Imagine what incredibly awesome things Harry has done with this wand!  (I do have Harry’s wand from the Wizarding World of Harry Potter in Orlando *nerd alert*)

3.  Harry and Kate’s thrones – The Goddess Inheritance is one of my favorite series and I think these would represent it so well.  What do you think?

That’s it, three new artifacts going to the museum today!

If you like the idea and would like to join me, I’ll be happy to provide a “linky”  of some sort in future posts.

  1. Ooooh - you should do a Pinterest to pin a pic of each artifact!
