Hi there gorgeous people! I didn't do a STS last week because I only got one book :( I didn't do much better this week, but I have big news to share with you.
Reading with ABC is moving to WordPress! Yes, the wonderful Ashley from Nosegraze and Creative Whim now also has open her Book Host and decided to take the plunge. She will be moving my blog next week for its new home and I'm really excited about it! Hopefully this move will be seamless to most of you. Please be patient while I learn my way around WordPress.
Are you in WordPress already? Do you love it? Do you have any advice for a rookie? Any wonderful plugins that I must have?
Here are some posts you might have missed in the past two weeks:
Audiobook review: Clockwork Prince by Cassandra Clare
Guest post and Giveaway: Searching for Beautiful by Nyrae Dawn

Gilded by Christina L. Farley - I've seen some pretty good reviews about this book and I got it for Kindle with the audio as well (see below)

ReplyDeleteI really need to read Shadow of the Mark. I also forgot about the book until you mentioned it in this post! Great haul! Good luck with your transition to wordpress :)

My Haul!
Great haul of books! I hadn't heard of it before but Lumiere looks really good, might have to add it to my wishlist. Landry Park is already on my wishlist, have heard lots of good things about it though so looking forward to hearing what you think of it.
ReplyDeleteGood luck with your move to WP, I occasionally think about doing it but wouldn't have a clue, even with help! Enjoy your new books and happy reading :)
I like WP as a free user, so I think you'll like it. Your haul looks good this week -- some amazing covers!
ReplyDeleteMy StS.
I love wordpress, my only tip is using the galleries but I'm not really a techie person. Anyway happy moving and enjoy your books!
ReplyDeleteGreat haul! I hope you enjoy all of your books :)
ReplyDeleteHappy reading!
Ooh great books! I did try and move to wordpress once but I found it very difficult to use compared to blogger. Weebly is my favourite and I was going to move to their but I don't want to lose my GFC following so I'm sticking with blogger for now.

Great haul! I tried to move to Wordpress once and had a hard time, so I gave up. I think I would have to hire someone to do it for me. I hope you like it. Most people seem to love it. Enjoy your books :)
ReplyDeleteHURRAY FOR WORDPRESS! I've been thinking about making the switch, but maybe over the summer, when I have more time to think about it. We shall see. Good luck! I hope it will be a smooth transition :)
ReplyDeleteBooks. Let's see. I really enjoyed Gilded! It's not the type of book I usually read, but I really liked it. I wasn't a fan of Fallon's first book, but I never gave the second book a shot. Hopefully it's better :) Enjoy all of your new books, Liza!! <3
Have a fabulous weekend!
Check out my STS post!

I definitely suggest getting the Ultimate Book Blogger Plugin! It's a must!
As far as themes, I used to have the Tweak Me theme and loved it.
Plugings: Askimet (spam comments), Comment Luv, Comment reply notification, are also favorites.
Good luck!
The Winner's Curse and Gilded both look really good. Enjoy and Happy Reading!
ReplyDeleteHere are my newest additions.
I tried to move on wordpress many months ago but I can't afford to buy a good template so I decided to stick on blogger. Btw nice books Landry Park got my attention.
ReplyDeleteOooh! Wordpress is great, you'll love it. I've been on WP for two years and never regretted it. Plugin-wise, Akismet and WP Super Cache are two must-haves. :)
